The Apple App Store alone offers over 1.8 million apps to choose from. It can be distressing just to wade through all the apps to find the ones that work best. Our team has curated our own list of must have apps that we cannot live without. Best of all, they are all free!
Slack
This is one of the best messaging apps for businesses. It’s like WhatsApp but for colleagues, business teams, and clients. You can search for keywords, images, and documents which comes in handy.

Trello
We love Trello as it’s a collaborative planning tool for project management. The drag and drop format on content boards is visually pleasing and super easy to work with (even for the tech challenged). The Butler automation tool lets you automate repetitive tasks.

Gas
Contactless payment for your gas fill ups from the comfort of your vehicle. What’s even better is that you can email the digital receipt directly to Dext or QBO (hint hint). It’s quick and easy and you’ll never lose a gas receipt again. We are aware that Shell, Esso, Petro Canada, and Husky have contactless payment available.
Waze
As far as navigation apps go, Waze makes the top of our list. We found it more accurate than other navigation apps especially in predicting time of arrival, offering alternate routes, police and traffic alerts, and will even warn drivers to watch for upcoming debris and potholes.

Quickbooks Accounting
With the QBO mobile app you can create and send invoices, estimates, or sales receipts while on the go. You can even receive payments and access customer information directly from your mobile device.

Dext (formerly Receipt Bank)
Capture and store receipts to Dext’s secure platform. Item messaging makes it easy to communicate with your bookkeeper directly from the app as it relates to a particular item or expense (hint hint).
